Arrival by Plane:

We recommend that you use Ronald Reagan National Airport (airport code DCA) as it is central to the District of Columbia and the conference hotel. Information about the airport can be found at http://www.metwashairports.com/index.htm.

From Ronald Reagan National Airport it is easy to use the Metro (subway system) to travel to the hotel. After arrival at the airport follow the Metro signs from the baggage claim area to the elevated Metro platform. Catch a blue line train traveling north to Addison Road. Exit the Metro at the Foggy Bottom/George Washington University station (see Metro to Hotel instructions below). The one-way fare for the Metro is $1.10. Purchase your ticket using the fare machine at the entrance to the Metro station. Cash or credit cards are accepted. The trains are in service until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. To take a cab from National Airport to the Wyndham City Center Hotel will cost about $10.00 (increasing with the number of passengers).

You may also plan to arrive at Baltimore-Washington Airport (airport code BWI). Information about this airport can be found at http://www.bwiairport.com/index.html. From BWI you will take a bus to the Metro Greenbelt Station. Follow the ground transportation signage to the BWI Express Metro bus stop at the BWI Business District light rail station. The bus leaves BWI traveling to the Greenbelt Metro Station approximately every 40 minutes beginning at 8:00 a.m. The last train of the day leaves BWI at 10:50 p.m. Round-trip bus fare is $3.15. Metro fare is $1.10 and you can purchase a ticket at the fare machines near the entrance to the Metro station. Cash or credit cards are accepted. Trains are in service until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. At the Greenbelt Metro Station you will board a green line train traveling south toward Branch Avenue. At the Gallery Place/Chinatown Station you will transfer to a Red Line train traveling towards Shady Grove. Exit the Metro at the Dupont Circle Station (see Metro to Hotel instructions below). Taxi fare from BWI to the Wyndham City Center is approximately $55.

Another airport option is Washington Dulles International Airport (airport code IAD). Information about Dulles is at http://www.metwashairports.com/index.htm. From Dulles you can take a Washington Flyer Coach Service bus to the West Falls Church/UVA Metro Station. The bus is available at Arrivals Door 4 and departs every 30 minutes from 6:00 a.m. until midnight. Metro fare is $1.10. You can purchase a ticket at the fare machines at the entrance to the Metro station. Cash or credit cards are accepted. Trains are in service until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. At the West Falls Church/UVA Metro Station you will board an orange line train traveling east towards New Carrollton. Exit the Metro at the Foggy Bottom/George Washington University metro station (see Metro to Hotel instructions below). Cab fare from Dulles to the Wyndham City Center is approximately $50.

You may also use the Super Shuttle shared ride van from any of the airports. Cost and wait time varies depending on the number of passengers and the routes taken.
