MAC Messages: Our Very Own E-publication
By Linda J. Collins, Chair-Elect, Publications Committee

There is no denying the trend towards electronic publications and MAC Messages is no exception. At the Executive Board meeting in Durham on February 6th, the Publications Committee received approval to make the transition to online only publication and distribution of MAC Messages. A PDF version of the newsletter will supplement the html copy on our Web site for those who would like to print individual copies. This change will be effective with the next issue, March/April 2004. Lynn Eades has graciously offered to mail print copies to a small number of retirees, as well as the MAC archivist.

This change to exclusive use of the electronic format will result in substantial time, money and labor savings for our organization. As the Board noted, 2004 will be remembered as the year of change. Look for related announcements coming up soon!
