Yes, Mac 2001 will be held October 17-20 in Ocean City, Maryland - right at the foot of the breakers. We will be meeting in the oceanfront Princess Royale Hotel where many rooms have a spectacular ocean view. Dress is casual, in keeping with the mood at the beach. Take some time to explore this premier resort on the Maryland shore - experience the old-fashioned boardwalk, the myriad shops and, of course, the crabs and other delicious Maryland seafood. Plan to spend the weekend with the surf and sun! Put on your sunglasses and join MAC members in examining the daze of technology and alternative information avenues available to us in the new century. Take a look at the world of e journals, legislative issues, outreach and changing roles of librarians. Mark your calendars now and we will reveal more about the program as time draws near.
