News from the States The Health Sciences Library at West Virginia University welcomes Susan Arnold as our newest Information Services Librarian. Susan received a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina. She also holds a graduate degree in Human Nutrition & Foods from Virginia Tech. Susan comes to us from West Virginia University Hospitals where she worked as a clinical nutrition manager and was responsible for her department's Web page on the hospital intranet. Nancy Wasson, Head, Access Services, HSL, WVU, presented a poster "Digital Document Delivery in West Virginia: Supporting Health Care Education Through Technology" at the Slice of Life 2001/ Computers in Healthcare Education Symposium in Munich, Germany, August 1-4, 2001. She also presented a contributed paper on the same topic at the recent MAC/MLA 2001 Annual Meeting, in Ocean City, MD, October 17-19, 2001. Kelley Rice, HSL Circulation Supervisor, WVU, presented "Using Electronic Tools/Resources to Train Student Workers" at the 2001 MAC/MLA contributed paper sessions. Go to the previous article |
