Fees Payment Task Force

By approval of the MAC Executive Board in May 2004, the Fees Payment Task Force is hereby created, consisting of the following members:

• Jane Borland (Treasurer), Chair
• Julia Shaw-Kokot (Chapter Council Alternate)
• Lynn Eades (Registration Committee Co-chair and Membership Database Manager)
• Robert James (Membership Committee)
• Adam Glazer (Website Editor)

Charge: To investigate methods that would allow MAC members to use credit cards for paying their dues and registration fees.


The Task Force is asked to address, but is not limited to, the following specific issues:

  1. Ability of members to submit credit card payments electronically or via a paper form that is mailed or faxed.


  2. Use of PayPal and other electronic systems.


  3. Development of a process that can be in place for use at the 2004 annual meeting.


  4. Consideration of a phased in process if necessary.

Duration and Reporting: The Task Force should begin work immediately and bring a preliminary report and recommendations to the Board as soon as they are available. Upon completion of its work and with the approval of the final report, the Task Force will be discharged.
